"Be yourself in every time"
In early my career, my friend as my mentor and I, always think why there is a man as a true leader, and why there is man just hold its predicate. "The first step to be a true leader is, try to find who you are, and be yourself in every time", said my mentor. In my opinion, that is a great advice. In the whole my career, I always make sure every employee in all level, when they meet me, they shouldn't try to figure out who i am, and what is my position in the organization. It is just brand or lable matter. Everyone want to trust their leader, but they have many reason not to trust. Trust must be achieved, not as award. Trustworthy will be given to a true leader, someone in bad or good time and condition always try to be his/herself

Di awal karier, Saya dan seorang teman sekaligus mentor pernah membicarakan mengapa ada orang yang merupakan pemimpin sejati dan ada yang tampaknya hanya menyandang gelar tersebut. "Langkah pertama untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin sejati adalah mencari tahu siapa diri Anda sebenarnya dan jadilah diri Anda sendiri setiap waktu", mentorku berkata. Menurutku, nasihat itu sangat luar biasa. Sepanjang karier, saya bekerja keras untuk memastikan bahwa saat seorang karyawan bertemu dengan saya di level mana pun, ia tidak harus mencari tahu siapa saya dan apa kedudukan saya. Hal itu hanya masalah menciptakan merek/label pribadi Anda sendiri. Setiap orang ingin mempercayai pemimpinnya, namun mereka juga mempunyai banyak alasan untuk tidak percaya. Kepercayaan harus diraih, bukan dianugerahkan. Orang akan memberikan kepercayaan hanya kepada seseorang yang nyata, bukan sebuah gelar, seseorang yang seiring perjalanan waktu dan melalui berbagai kondisi terbukti benar-benar seperti yang ia katakan.
